Sales Support Specialist

Duties

  • Support outside sales efforts by cold calling prospects, scheduling meetings, and nurturing relationships to expand territory coverage.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track customer interactions, update account information, and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
  • Engage in territory management by identifying potential clients within assigned regions and executing targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with management on sales strategies, market analysis, and competitive positioning to maximize revenue growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and upselling relevant products or services.
  • Assist with technical sales processes by understanding product specifications, conducting product demos, and supporting complex B2B transactions.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a focus on technology or industrial products.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead negotiations and close deals effectively.
  • Expertise in business development techniques including cold calling, lead generation, and direct sales approaches.
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities and customer data.
  • Excellent analysis skills to interpret market trends, customer needs, and sales performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and negotiations confidently.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell products while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of retail or inside sales environments is a plus; familiarity with marketing strategies is advantageous.
