Sales Transformation Manager (Director level)

LHH Middle East is partnering with a multinational organization to appoint its next Sales Transformation Manager (Director level) for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As the Sales Transformation Manager (Director Level), you will be the strategic architect of our client's sales organization's evolution in Saudi Arabia. You will lead the transition from reactive sales management to a proactive, data-driven, and highly efficient commercial engine. Your role is pivotal in aligning our global sales standards with the unique dynamics of the Saudi market, particularly in support of Vision 2030 initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted Sales Business Partner to the Managing Director and Business Leaders. Provide high-level strategic advice to increase sales effectiveness across both B2B (Enterprise) and B2C (Consumer) segments.
  • Map current sales processes, identify structural gaps against the global model, and design comprehensive recovery and optimization roadmaps. Ensure the seamless deployment of the Global Sales Process within the local context.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of the CRM system (Salesforce preferred). Drive the adoption of digital tools and AI-augmented sales technologies to enhance productivity and pipeline visibility.
  • Establish and monitor sophisticated sales KPIs. Conduct deep-dive data analysis to extract actionable insights, defining improvement actions and strategic roadmaps for the Top Management Team.
  • Coordinate and deliver high-impact training and coaching sessions for the field sales and telesales teams. Focus on advanced sales methodologies, financial solutions (e.g., Product Lifecycle Management, Operational Leasing), and executive judgment.
  • Conduct regular shadowing visits and periodic sales reviews to provide real-time feedback. Ensure that financial services penetration targets and other strategic KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the local Saudi branch and Global HQ. Ensure local operations are aligned with global standards while advocating for regional market requirements.
  • Actively manage the career strategy for senior sales leaders to maximize their impact while developing the next generation of talent for robust succession planning.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate is a "Corporate Statesman" with a proven track record of driving commercial growth and operational excellence in complex, multinational environments. You should possess a unique blend of strategic vision and disciplined execution.

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in structured multinational companies, top-tier consulting firms, or high-growth technology/industrial sectors.
  • Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the Middle East market, specifically Saudi Arabia. Experience contributing to or aligning with Vision 2030 initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Sector Versatility: Proven experience managing both B2B (Enterprise) and B2C (Consumer) commercial models. Background in FMCG, Wellness, Technology, or Industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Transformation Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading large-scale sales transformation projects, process re-engineering, or organizational design.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce) and a strong "data mindset." Experience with AI adoption in the workplace and emerging sales technologies is a significant advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution (e.g., Loughborough University or equivalent). An MBA or advanced professional certifications are preferred.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at the Board and C-Suite levels. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Personal Attributes: A high-energy, proactive leader with a passion for excellence and a healthy, wellness-oriented lifestyle. Must demonstrate transparency, ethical judgment, and a strong commitment to team effectiveness.
