Job Description:
As a Salesman at R K & Sons Cycle Shop, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while driving sales and promoting our brand. You will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the perfect bicycle and accessories to meet their needs, as well as providing expert advice on cycling gear and maintenance. Your enthusiasm for cycling and commitment to exceptional service will contribute to the success of our store.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers both in-person and over the phone. Listen attentively to customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Sales: Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively communicating the features and benefits of our products. Utilize sales techniques to drive revenue and promote customer loyalty.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings, including bicycles, accessories, and maintenance services. Stay informed about industry trends and new product releases.
• Merchandising: Assist with merchandising and maintaining the appearance of the store, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and in accordance with company standards.
• Technical Assistance: Provide basic technical assistance to customers, such as helping with bike adjustments and minor repairs. Refer more complex technical issues to our service department.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to management. Assist with receiving shipments and restocking merchandise as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a cycling or outdoor recreation setting.
• Passion for cycling and a strong knowledge of bicycles and cycling accessories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about bicycle maintenance.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
