Salesman

We are seeking a customer-focused Salesman to represent our brand at our Gulshan Market location. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers — delivering an exceptional in-store experience through product knowledge, active selling, and a well-maintained shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and guide them toward the right baked goods, cakes, or snacks based on their tastes and needs.

Sales & Upselling: Take initiative in promoting seasonal items, newly launched products, and complementary add-ons such as beverages or gift packaging to hit daily sales goals.

Order Management: Accurately process special orders for custom cakes and coordinate with the team to ensure on-time delivery or customer pickup.

Cash Handling: Operate the POS system with precision, process both cash and digital transactions, and keep thorough and accurate payment records.

Merchandising: Keep display cases neat and visually appealing, with all products clearly labeled with correct pricing and ingredient information.

Stock Management: Track inventory levels throughout your shift and replenish shelves as needed to keep the store looking well-stocked and welcoming.

Hygiene & Safety: Uphold cleanliness standards at the sales counter and customer-facing areas in strict accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Education: Intermediate level required; a degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.

Experience: Prior experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is preferred, though entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply. Candidates with cashiering experience will be given preference.
