Job Summary:

The Outdoor Salesman is responsible for promoting and selling Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products to retail shops, groceries, supermarkets, restaurants, and other business customers. The role involves daily market visits, order collection, delivery coordination, and achieving monthly sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily visits to assigned market area to promote and sell FMCG products.
  • Identify new customers and expand the customer base within assigned territory.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat orders.
  • Present products, pricing, offers, and promotions effectively to customers.
  • Achieve assigned monthly sales, coverage, and collection targets.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed at customer outlets (merchandising).
  • Take orders accurately and coordinate with the logistics/warehouse team for timely deliveries.
  • Collect payments or follow up for pending dues as per company policy.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends and report findings to management.
  • Maintain sales records and submit daily sales activity reports.

Requirements:

  • High School / Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 1–2 years GCC experience in FMCG field sales (grocery, wholesale, or retail market).
  • Good knowledge of local market routes and customer segments.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
  • Pleasant personality, disciplined, reliable, and result-driven.

Valid Driving License (Qatar or transferable) — mandatory for outdoor sales.
