Salesman – Pipes and Fittings

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Salesman to join our team, specializing in the sale of pipes, fittings, and related plumbing/industrial products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and providing product knowledge to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell a wide range of pipes and fittings to new and existing customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with plumbing contractors, construction companies, industrial clients, wholesalers, and retailers.
• Identify potential markets and generate new leads through field visits, cold calling, and networking.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules in line with company guidelines.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
• Provide accurate product knowledge, technical support, and after-sales service.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and new products.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven sales experience in the plumbing, building materials, or industrial supplies industry (pipes and fittings preferred).
• Strong knowledge of different types of pipes and fittings (PVC, GI, UPVC, CPVC, HDPE, etc.) and their applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle field sales.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license (if field visits are required).
