Salon Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing appointments and supporting salon operations. This role requires a passion for the beauty industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon and provide them with necessary information.
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
• Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
• Process transactions using the POS system and cash register, ensuring accurate handling of payments.
• Maintain an organized reception area and manage stock levels of retail products.
• Assist in retail sales by conducting product demos and upselling services or products to clients.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Support salon staff by coordinating schedules and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Skills .

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
• Proficient in phone etiquette to ensure professional communication at all times.
• Experience with cash registers and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques, including upselling and product demonstrations.
• Ability to manage stock levels effectively to ensure product availability for clients.
