Parlour 9 Salon & Spa is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and outgoing Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our warm, welcoming team. As two of our receptionists head off to college this fall, we're looking for one or two amazing people to help us continue providing the exceptional guest experience we're known for.

Position Details

• Part-time position
• Hours include:
• 1–2 evenings per week (3:30 PM–9:30 PM)
• Every other Saturday (7:30 AM–3:30 PM)
• Potential Friday shifts (8:30 AM–5:30 PM)
• Daytime availability for occasional shift coverage is a plus
• Additional fill-in hours available when needed
• Long-term position (not seasonal or summer-only)
• Training will begin in mid-to-late August

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly attitude
• Answer a high volume of phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Schedule salon and spa appointments accurately
• Educate guests on our services, promotions, and retail products
• Assist with creating social media content
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and polished salon, including laundry
• Support our stylists, estheticians, massage therapists, managers, and fellow team members
• Create an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Friendly, positive, and outgoing
• Passionate about providing outstanding customer service
• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A strong communicator with excellent phone etiquette
• Comfortable using computers and learning salon software
• Reliable, dependable, and a team player
• Customer service, retail, or salon/spa experience is preferred, but not required
