Sample In Charge

The Sample In-Charge is responsible for managing the entire sampling process — from receiving buyer requirements to delivering approved samples. This role ensures that samples are developed according to buyer specifications, within deadlines, and in coordination with design, production teams.

• Receive and review sample requests from merchandising or buyers.
• Plan and allocate work to pattern masters, tailors, and sample makers.
• Maintain a systematic record of all samples developed (e.g., proto, fit, size set, pre-production, shipment samples).
• Communicate with the fabric and trims departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Coordinate with quality and technical teams for fit approvals and corrections.
• Check the quality, measurement, and finishing of samples before submission.
• Ensure samples match buyer specifications, tech packs, and measurement sheets.
• Supervise sample tailors, pattern masters, and helpers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Train and guide team members to meet quality and timeline targets.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and finishing.
• Understanding of pattern making and garment fit.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Time management and ability to handle multiple sample styles simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office or sample management software (if applicable).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or Garment Manufacturing.
• Minimus 1 Years of experience in garment sampling

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
