Sample Librarian

As the Sample Librarian at our East Rutherford, NJ warehouse, you are the logistical heartbeat of STARK. You manage the vital link between our luxury inventory and the world’s top designers. This role is perfect for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a flawless, high-end library.

Job Responsibilities

• 
  Fulfillment & Logistics: Manage all incoming/outgoing UPS shipping and receiving for sample requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to clients and Account Managers.
• Library Curation: Organize sample returns, replenish stock, and ensure the library is meticulously maintained and "client-ready."
• Data Management: Maintain precise records in Excel and Word; enter new product information and track sample placements to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
• Visual Standards: Merchandise new samples and maintain all displays and "wings" so they are aesthetically perfect and up-to-date.
• Team Support: Act as a proactive partner on the warehouse floor, assisting with inventory projects and other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Organization: Must be highly organized with a sharp attention to detail and a proactive "take initiative" mindset.
• Communication: A pleasant demeanor with excellent teamwork skills and the ability to exchange accurate information in a professional manner.
• Efficiency: Proven ability to multi-task and manage high-volume workflows in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate-to-expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Interest in Design: A background in textiles or a genuine interest in the interior design industry is preferred.
