Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating various types of cranes and heavy equipment on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment throughout the site, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations.
• Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on cranes and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Document daily operations, including any incidents or mechanical issues encountered.

Experience

• Proven experience in crane operation, with a strong understanding of construction site practices.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to cranes, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, concrete mixers, and various trucks (dump truck, water truck, roll-off truck).
• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and farm machinery is a plus.
• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
