SAP ABAP RAP

Roles and Responsibilities:




. Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models, data flows, and reports to meet business requirements.
. Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from SAP and non-SAP systems.
. Develop InfoObjects, DataSources, InfoProviders, CompositeProviders, and Open ODS views.
. Implement data flows using DTPs, transformations, and process chains in SAP BW.
. Optimize performance of data loads, queries, and reporting solutions.
. Collaborate with business users to define requirements, KPIs, and reporting structures.
. Work with SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA to leverage in-memory modeling and performance improvements.
. Develop and support analytical reports using SAP BEx tools or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
. Monitor and troubleshoot data loads, process chains, and query performance.
. Prepare technical documentation for all data models, transformations, and reports.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integration across systems.
. Support system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning activities.




Primary Skill:

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
. 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/BW on HANA/BW/4HANA environments.
. Strong experience in data modeling, ETL design, and performance optimization.
. Good understanding of SAP ECC/S/4HANA data sources across modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
. Experience with BEx Query Designer, Analyzer, and related reporting tools.
. Proficiency in creating complex transformations, routines, and process chains.
. Knowledge of data extraction using standard and custom DataSources.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Ability to interact effectively with business users and functional consultants.
. Good communication and documentation skills.
