About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in ETL, data transformation, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have end-to-end understanding of SAP BODS and production support exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP BODS (Data Services 4.x) jobs
• Work with SAP ECC tables, ODP extractors, and SAP BW for data extraction
• Perform ETL development, data modeling & data transformation
• Support production environments and troubleshoot job failures & bottlenecks
• Optimize BODS jobs for performance, memory utilization & error handling
• Coordinate with technical teams for infrastructure & connection issues
• Ensure best practices, standards, and ETL performance tuning
• Handle Data Services administration activities

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BODS (Data Services 4.x)
• Good understanding of ETL concepts & data modeling
• Experience in job enhancement and performance tuning
• Knowledge of SAP ECC / SAP BW data structures
• SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server / Azure DB etc.)
• Experience supporting production ETL environments
• Ability to analyze and resolve long-running or failed jobs
