SAP BTP BASIS Administrator – Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP BASIS Administrator-Consultant to support a major SAP transformation program. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the administration, monitoring, and technical operations of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) landscapes. You will ensure optimal performance, security, and system availability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP BTP Administration:

• Administer and monitor SAP BTP environments, including Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and Neo landscapes.

• Manage service instances, subscriptions, and user roles within SAP BTP.

System Security and Authorizations:

• Implement system security, roles, and authorizations in collaboration with SAP Security teams.

• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Perform system updates, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues within SAP BTP landscapes.

Integration Support:

• Support integration between SAP BTP applications and on-premise SAP systems.

• Collaborate with development and functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with development, functional, and PMO teams to support project requirements and deliverables.

• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, technical guides, and system health reports.

• Provide regular updates on system performance and project progress.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• SAP BTP certification is a plus.

Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with a focus on SAP BTP landscapes.

• Proven expertise in SAP BTP administration, including Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Neo, and SAP HANA Cloud.

• Experience in managing SAP integration services and supporting hybrid landscapes.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP administration, including service instance management, subscriptions, and user roles.

• Proficiency in system security, roles, and authorizations within SAP BTP.

• Hands-on experience with system updates, patches, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with SAP integration services and on-premise SAP systems.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and SAP integration services.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for SAP hosting.

• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and other system monitoring tools.
