SAP Business one consultant

As an SAP Business One Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to our diverse client base. You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, ongoing support, and strategic optimization of SAP Business One, ensuring our clients leverage the platform to its fullest potential. This client-facing role demands deep expertise in SAP Business One functionalities, a keen ability to analyze complex business processes, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • SAP Business One Implementation:
  • Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of SAP Business One implementation projects, from comprehensive requirements gathering and solution design through to go-live and robust post-go-live support
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of client business processes, workflows, and unique functional requirements
  • Perform meticulous configuration, customization, and fine-tuning of SAP Business One to align precisely with client operational needs
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive data migration strategies and plans
  • Deliver effective user training sessions and develop clear, concise system documentation
  • Support and Maintenance:
  • Provide expert ongoing support and proactive maintenance for deployed SAP Business One systems
  • Efficiently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations
  • Manage and apply necessary system patches, upgrades, and hotfixes
  • Uphold stringent standards for data integrity and system security
  • Optimization and Enhancement:
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies within client organizations through the strategic application of SAP Business One functionalities
  • Design and implement impactful system enhancements, custom reports, and bespoke solutions
  • Maintain current knowledge of SAP Business One best practices, new features, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge advice
  • Client Engagement and Advisory:
  • Cultivate and nurture strong, enduring relationships with clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on all SAP Business One-related matters
  • Conduct regular client review meetings, presenting performance insights and strategic recommendations for continuous system improvement
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee and successfully manage multiple concurrent SAP Business One projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and strict budget compliance
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Provide transparent and regular communication on project status, progress, and potential risks to all relevant stakeholders

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field. A master's degree is considered a significant asset
  • Experience:
  • Associate Level: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Business One implementation and support, with a demonstrated history of successful project delivery
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven proficiency in SAP Business One core configuration and advanced customization
  • Strong working knowledge and practical experience with SQL and Crystal Reports
  • Familiarity with SAP Business One integration tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Solid understanding of database management principles and data migration techniques
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a detail-oriented approach
  • Superior communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Robust organizational and project management acumen
  • Certifications:
  • Current SAP Business One certification is highly desirable
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as required
