SAP DBM / VMS Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP DBM (Dealer Business Management) / VMS (Vehicle Management System) Consultant to configure, implement, and support automotive business processes within SAP. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in vehicle sales, service operations, and parts management, along with integration experience across core SAP modules.

1. SAP DBM / VMS Functional Expertise

• Configure and support SAP DBM and VMS modules, including:
  • Vehicle Sales
  • After-sales Service Management
  • Parts and Inventory Management
• Manage end-to-end automotive dealership processes within SAP.

2. System Configuration & Customization

• Configure and maintain:
  • Vehicle master data and model structures
  • Status management for vehicles (e.g., ordered, in-stock, sold)
  • Procurement and logistics processes
  • Warranty and claims management processes
• Customize system settings based on business requirements.

3. Integration Management

• Ensure seamless integration of DBM/VMS with core SAP modules:
  • SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • SAP MM (Materials Management)
  • SAP FI (Financial Accounting)
  • SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data flow and business processes.

4. Implementation & Support

• Participate in full lifecycle implementations (blueprint, design, build, testing, go-live, support).
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to DBM/VMS.

5. Business Process Optimization

• Analyze automotive business processes and recommend SAP-based solutions.
• Improve operational efficiency in dealership and automotive workflows.

6. Documentation & Training

• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
• Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related domain.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP DBM / VMS implementation or support.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Automotive dealership processes
  • Vehicle lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA (Automotive add-ons).
