SAP ECC to S/4HANA Public Cloud Migration Specialist

ECOM Specialist LLC is a USA-Dallas-based IBM & SAP Business Partner. The selected candidate will be required to work with Pakistan and US-based staff; working hours are from 6:30 pm to 3:30 am Pakistan Standard Time.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Migration Specialist to lead and execute the transition from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP modernization projects, with deep understanding of both technical migration paths and functional transformation aligned with SAP’s RISE with SAP framework.

This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders, SAP consultants, and system integrators to ensure a smooth and optimized migration that aligns with business goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead the migration from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, including system assessment, readiness checks, and roadmap design.
• Perform detailed gap analysis between ECC and S/4HANA Public Cloud functionalities, identifying required process redesigns and data transformations.
• Coordinate data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, validation, and cutover execution.
• Collaborate with business process owners to align standard SAP Public Cloud best practices with current ECC customizations and extensions.
• Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for necessary integrations, extensions, and custom developments.
• Work closely with SAP Basis, Security, and Integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity and system performance post-migration.
• Manage testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) and provide post-go-live hypercare support.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance requirements during and after the migration.
• Prepare project documentation, technical specs, and user training materials.
• Stay current on SAP roadmap, public cloud releases, and upgrade schedules to ensure continuous system optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
• Proven experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration, preferably to Public Cloud edition.
• Deep understanding of SAP Activate methodology and RISE with SAP framework.
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP data structures, IDOCs, ALE, RFCs, BAPIs, CDS views, and Fiori.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP Best Practice Explorer.
• Familiarity with BTP (Business Technology Platform) for integration and extension scenarios.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical details into business language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP-certified in S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition or S/4HANA Conversion and System Upgrade.
• Experience integrating S/4HANA with non-SAP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Concur, Ariba, EDI/API platforms).
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM for project management.
• Prior experience working with multi-tenant public cloud environments.

Pay: From Rs750,000.00 per month
