SAP Integrations Developer

Position Summary

We at TAG (Teams for Agile Growth) are hiring on behalf of our esteemed client based in Canada , a leading organization in the retail industry . We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP PI/PO Integration Specialist to join their dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with functional application owners to successfully integrate systems to SAP. They will be responsible for creating solution design documents, functional requirements, test plans, implementing PO configuration, and working on production issues. They will be an expert in integrating SAP with both SAP and non-SAP systems using various adapters and protocols as required. They will be instrumental in delivering robust integration solutions that support key business processes and deliver operational efficiency. This position will be responsible for monitoring the PO environment and ensuring successful integration 24/7/365.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end SAP PO integration solutions based on business requirements
• Work with the SAP Functional Team and other non-SAP applications to ensure that application designs utilize the appropriate integration patterns and standards
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support SAP modules/systems
• Build and maintain a solid understanding of the application areas and the business areas they support
• Support the integration projects through various phases, from gathering business requirements to go-live and post-implementation support
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and standards
• Optimize and troubleshoot interfaces for performance, reliability, and scalability in coordination with the SAP functional team
• Ensure secure, stable, and maintainable integration landscapes in compliance with SAP best practices
• Work with SOAP, REST, IDOC, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, and other adapters
• Participate in system upgrades and patching
• Provide 24x7 on-call support of production systems on a rotation basis in support of technical processes and interfaces
• Support monthly maintenance of SAP PO

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in SAP PI/PO in the retail industry
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with SAP Integration Suite
• Knowledge of other integration technologies and specific SAP PI/PO architecture required
• Thorough understanding of Integration Builder (Repository and Directory), Integration Engine, Runtime Workbench, Adapter Framework, configuration, and development
• Java-based application development experience in SAP PI/PO environment
• Proficient hands-on experience in implementing A2A and B2B solutions using IDOC, RFC, JDBC, File, ABAP Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST, SFTP, and JMS adapters, including UDFs coding, development of PI adapter modules
• Completion of a minimum of 2 full project lifecycle implementations and rollouts
• Experience in EDI implementation with SAP PI/PO mapping with various EDI protocols
• Experience with PGP/GPG encryption and decryption processes for implementation with vendor applications
• Strong knowledge in integration of SAP and non-SAP applications
• Knowledge of SAP PI/PO design best practices, error handling mechanisms, and SAP PI/PO architecture
