SAP Logistics Coordinator

Summary:

This role is responsible for coordinating and tracking all outbound shipments from the mill and local warehouses. You’ll help manage production schedules, resolve errors during shipping, and maintain accurate records of finished and in-process inventory. The goal is to ensure materials move efficiently through the supply chain to meet customer orders on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor production, scheduling, and outbound freight activities using SAP, Optivision, and Visitrak .
• Work closely with Customer Service to ensure all customer orders are processed and shipped correctly.
• Collaborate with logistics centers (ILC, GLC) and carriers to ensure on-time delivery .
• Track finished goods and in-process inventory , planning shipments accordingly.
• Manage roll salvage by organizing transport to storage and maintaining inventory levels.
• Communicate with railroad partners to manage inbound and outbound rail shipments.
• Work a rotating shift schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

What You’ll Need

• Strong SAP skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Google Workspace .
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate across departments.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing production needs.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant experience is also valued).
