Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced SAP PMO Consultant to support the delivery of a large-scale SAP transformation program. This role will focus on program tracking, reporting, and coordination activities across multiple workstreams, including HCM, SCM, and FIN. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, functional leads, and technical teams to ensure effective monitoring, reporting, and governance of the program. This position requires a strong understanding of SAP program delivery, PMO operations, and project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly status reports, dashboards, and program metrics to provide leadership with clear visibility into project progress.
Manage and update RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), ensuring timely identification and resolution of risks and issues.
Monitor project deliverables, milestones, and timelines, proactively identifying and escalating deviations or risks.
Facilitate workstream-level meetings, workshops, and cross-functional coordination activities.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of project data in tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Clarity.
Develop executive-level presentations and reports for leadership and steering committees.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Support compliance with program governance standards, SAP delivery frameworks, and best practices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to project governance and quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience:
4-6 years of experience in project management, PMO, or SAP program delivery roles.
Proven experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation programs or enterprise-level projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of SAP program delivery methodologies and PMO operations.
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Clarity.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical and Organizational Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Communication and Leadership Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in preparing and delivering executive-level presentations and reports.
Ability to guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) are highly desirable.
