SAP Project Manager

We are hiring for one of our major clients for the below requirement in Muscat, Oman

Job Details:

Role: SAP Project Manager (PMO) / SAP Program PMO Support

Employment Type: 6 months & extendable contract, outsourced

Work Location: Muscat, Oman

Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a maximum of 15 days of notice

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall project and PMO management for the program, including planning, tracking, reporting, risk and issue management.
• Manage stakeholder engagement across business, IT, SAP SMEs, and leadership to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
• Own and deliver PMO artifacts such as project plans, status reports, RAID logs, governance decks, and steering committee materials.
• Sanitize and quality-assure deliverables to ensure they are client-ready, consistent, and aligned with expectations by coordinating inputs from multiple workstreams.
• Drive and coordinate delivery of the following services:
• Service 2: Develop Business Transformation Journey Roadmap and Value Case.
• Service 4: Develop SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program Organization Structure and Governance Model.
• Service 5A: Define Procurement Strategy and finalize the List of Vendors for RFP issuance.
• Act as the single point of coordination between PMO, SAP functional SMEs, and client teams for consolidation of inputs and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to agreed timelines, milestones, and governance standards.
• Support executive and steering committee meetings, including preparation of materials and follow-up on actions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management / PMO roles, preferably in ERP or SAP transformation programs.
• Strong experience managing large, multi-stakeholder consulting engagements.
• Prior exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation, roadmap development, or enterprise IT programs is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage and sanitize senior-level deliverables (strategy decks, roadmaps, value cases).
• Experience supporting procurement strategy, vendor shortlisting, and RFP processes..
• Strong organizational, documentation, and coordination capabilities.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / SAP Activate Project Manager certifications and Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, or Government sectors in Middle East would be a huge plus
