SAP S4 HANA - (Public Cloud) - Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with strong expertise in S/4 Public Cloud to strengthen the current support team. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge across Professional Services (Projects, Time Entries), Record-to-Report (R2R) and basic Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. This role requires the ability to analyze issues end-to-end, identify functional solutions, and manage cross-functional impacts. The consultant should also be familiar with relevant technology platforms such as SAP BTP and SAP ALM, enabling them to manage all aspects of the SAP landscape effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide expert functional support for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, ensuring timely analysis and resolution of incidents and service requests.

• 
  Troubleshoot and analyze functional issues across Professional Services, including Project setup, time entry processes, and billing-related flows.

• 
  Support and optimize R2R processes including GL, AP/AR touchpoints, asset accounting basics, and financial closing activities.

• 
  Provide foundational support for P2P processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods/services receipt.

• 
  Conduct root-cause analysis and propose scalable functional solutions for recurring or complex issues.

• 
  Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP S/4 functional configurations and improvements.

• 
  Coordinate and guide the existing support team to improve functional analysis capabilities.

• 
  Collaborate with technical teams to assess and deliver enhancements using SAP BTP services and integration tools.

• 
  Utilize SAP ALM for requirement tracking, test management, change management, and documentation.

• 
  Support system upgrades, releases, and regression testing activities.

• 
  Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and maintain high-quality documentation.

Requirements

• 
  5–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, preferably with strong exposure to Public Cloud.

• 
  Deep functional understanding of Professional Services (Projects, WBS/Activities, Time Entry, Billing).

• 
  Strong knowledge of R2R processes, financial master data, period-end closing, and cross-functional integrations.

• 
  Good foundational knowledge of P2P processes in S/4 Public Cloud.

• 
  Experience working with SAP BTP (integration, extensions, workflows, APIs).

• 
  Working knowledge of SAP ALM for test, requirement, and change management.

• 
  Ability to perform detailed functional analysis and propose practical solutions to business issues.

• 
  Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• 
  Experience in a support model with incident, change, and problem management.

• 
  Professional experience in Professional Services industry is a strong advantage.
