Job Description

We are looking for a skilled SAP Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Manufacturing (PP), Supply Chain Planning (SCP), and SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end implementations, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions, support day-to-day operations, and drive continuous improvements across manufacturing and planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Ownership & Configuration
Own and manage configuration and support across:
SCP – Demand Planning, Supply Planning, MRP
MFG (PP) – Production Orders, BOM (Bill of Materials), Routing, Work Centers
MII – Manufacturing dashboards, shop floor integration
Ensure alignment of SAP processes with business and manufacturing requirements

Business Requirement Analysis

Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements
Translate requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
Provide inputs for process improvements and system enhancements

Manufacturing & Planning Expertise

Demonstrate strong understanding of:
Planning processes (demand/supply planning, MRP)
Manufacturing processes (production lifecycle, shop floor execution)
Support integration with shop floor systems / MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

SAP MII Support & Integration

Support MII-related activities including:
Data integration from machines and MES systems
Development and maintenance of KPI dashboards
Enabling real-time monitoring and analytics for manufacturing operations

Day-to-Day Operations & Support

Resolve production issues and tickets in a timely manner
Participate in client calls (status updates, issue discussions, clarifications)
Configure or enhance SAP processes based on business needs
Support testing cycles (unit testing, integration testing, UAT)

Collaboration & Team Coordination

Coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for developments and enhancements
Review and validate deliverables from junior team members
Ensure quality and adherence to project standards

SAP Expertise (Mandatory)

Hands-on experience in at least 1–2 full SAP implementations
Strong functional knowledge of:
SAP PP (Production Planning / Manufacturing)
Supply Chain Planning (MRP, demand & supply planning)
SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence)
Domain Knowledge
Good understanding of:
Manufacturing processes and shop floor operations
Integration with MES / execution systems

Technical Collaboration

Ability to work closely with technical/ABAP teams for custom developments
Understanding of data flows and system integrations Soft Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and client interaction skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Good team collaboration and mentoring ability
High level of ownership and accountability

Experience & Qualifications

4-7 Years of experience
BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA
