SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Consultant to support SAP Solution Manager activities within a major SAP transformation program. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Solution Manager functionalities to ensure efficient SAP operations and program delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and provide technical expertise in system monitoring, change management, and solution documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Solution Manager Implementation and Optimization:

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Solution Manager across SAP landscapes.

• Ensure SolMan functionalities align with project and business requirements.

Change and Service Management:

• Support Change Request Management (ChaRM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to ensure smooth and controlled changes across SAP systems.

• Assist in Test Management processes to support quality assurance and system validation.

System Monitoring and Issue Resolution:

• Monitor system performance, availability, and proactively address potential issues.

• Utilize SolMan tools for SAP landscape monitoring and ensure system health.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with technical, functional, and PMO teams to support project requirements and deliverables.

• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure seamless execution of SolMan activities.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain process documentation, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.

• Provide regular updates on system performance, change management, and project progress.

Best Practices and Guidance:

• Provide recommendations on SAP Solution Manager best practices and system configuration.

• Stay updated with the latest SAP SolMan features and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• SAP Solution Manager training or certification is a plus.

Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in SAP Solution Manager implementation and administration.

• Hands-on expertise in ChaRM, ITSM, and SAP landscape monitoring.

• Experience in supporting SolMan activities within SAP transformation programs.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager functionalities, including ChaRM, ITSM, Test Management, and system monitoring.

• Proficiency in configuring and optimizing SolMan processes to support SAP landscapes.

• Familiarity with SAP system landscapes, integration, and performance monitoring tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical challenges.

• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA landscapes and their integration with SolMan.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for SAP hosting.

• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies for SAP project delivery
