SAT Teachers Wanted for Spring 2026 In-Person Classes!

Bell Curves (www.bellcurves.com) is seeking engaging, reliable teachers for in‑person SAT and test‑prep courses beginning February 2026. Programs run during the school week and Saturdays, with schedules ranging from morning to late afternoon. We operate across all five NYC boroughs.

Bell Curves is an educational services company committed to expanding access to high‑quality, affordable education through partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and community‑based organizations.

Bell Curves teachers are provided paid training before they teach their first course. Starting pay is $35-$40 per hour, based on experience and performance during training. Experienced test-preparation teachers qualify for a starting rate of $45-$50 per hour.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for teachers or soon to be teachers who can meet the following criteria:

• Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching
• Committed to providing excellent customer service
• Enjoy working with students & families
• Great communication skills

Important Fit Criteria

We will not proceed with candidates who:

• Cannot teach in person
• Do not meet screening requirements (education, location, availability)
• Are unable to commit to scheduled class times once assigned

This role requires reliability and follow‑through.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Bell Curves test‑preparation content to K–12 students (6–25 students per class)
• Adapt lessons to diverse learners and varying schedules
• Reliably adhere to confirmed program schedules
• Communicate with the Bell Curves office in a timely manner
