SAUDI SAFETY MANAGER REQUIRED

Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

  • Develop and implement HSE policies aligned with SABIC’s corporate standards and local regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Lead incident investigations, document findings, and implement preventive measures.
  • Train employees and contractors on safety procedures, emergency response, and proper equipment use.
  • Monitor compliance with safety laws, environmental regulations, and internal protocols.
  • Coordinate with SABIC’s central HSE teams to ensure consistency across affiliate sites.
  • Prepare reports and safety metrics for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Promote a safety culture through awareness campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably within petrochemical or industrial sectors.
  • SABIC approval or prior SABIC experience is often required for affiliate roles.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly valued.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Transferable Iqama is typically required for expatriate candidates.
