Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Electronics Assembler to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Warner Robins, GA. Electronics Assembler is responsible for supporting repair, production and manufacturing processes. Will repair, modify, and maintain a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. You will be repairing highly complex systems and equipment that are mission critical for the platforms that they operate on.

In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to the following and other similar tasks:

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations and solder work on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

• Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with relevant soldering, production, or assembly experience being a plus

• Ability to work 2nd shift as required

• Ability to wear safety gear, such as steel toed shoes and glasses

• Ability to handle and assemble small parts

• Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer skills including proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

• Experience with soldering electronics components and assemblies.

Primary Level Salary Range: $17.75 - $17.75

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
