Scaffolder

Job Summary:

A Scaffolder is responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe working platforms for construction and maintenance tasks. This role requires knowledge of different scaffolding systems, strict adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work at height in various environments including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures according to technical drawings and safety regulations.
• Install guard rails, toe boards, ladders, and other safety components.
• Ensure all scaffolding is stable, secure, and compliant with UAE safety standards.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments of existing scaffolds.
• Load, unload, and organize scaffolding materials and components on site.
• Work closely with site supervisors, safety officers, and other trades to coordinate scaffolding requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Report any damage or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Scaffolder, preferably on large-scale construction or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of different types of scaffolding systems (tube & clamp, system scaffolds, mobile towers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and plans.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (e.g., fall protection, load limits).
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Team player with good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scaffolding Certification from a recognized authority (e.g., CISRS, OSHA, or local training institute).
• Minimum 2–5 years of scaffolding experience in the UAE or GCC.
• Valid UAE work permit or transferable visa.
• Familiarity with scaffolding in oil & gas, marine, or industrial environments is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position on active construction or industrial sites.
• Work often performed at height and in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
• PPE (helmets, harnesses, gloves, safety boots, etc.) must be worn at all times.
• May involve long shifts, weekend work, and physically demanding tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED10.00 per month

• Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
