About the Role
We are seeking qualified and safety-driven Scaffolder Inspectors, Foremen, and Supervisors to support ongoing oil and gas projects. The role involves supervising scaffold erection/dismantling, inspecting scaffolding structures, and ensuring compliance with international oil & gas safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and certify scaffolding structures in line with OSHA, BS EN, CISRS, or API standards.
- Supervise scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling in high-risk oil & gas environments.
- Lead scaffolding teams to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate scaffold inspection logs, handover certificates, and safety checklists.
- Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and HSE teams for scaffold planning and safety compliance.
- Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
- Ensure scaffolding is fit for purpose in hazardous areas (onshore plants, offshore rigs, refineries, etc.).
- Mentor and train scaffolders on safety practices and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Scaffolding Inspector Certification (CISRS / TUV / OSHA / equivalent).
- Minimum 3-5+ years scaffolding experience in the oil & gas industry (offshore or onshore).
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, PTW systems, and international scaffolding standards.
- Experience supervising multicultural teams in high-risk environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scaffolding plans.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to work in offshore/onshore environments and extreme weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physically fit to handle scaffolding materials and equipment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts (e.g., 28/28, 35/35, or as required).
