Job Title: Scaffolding Sales Engineer

Job Summary:
The Scaffolding Sales Engineer is responsible for generating sales leads, building client relationships, and promoting scaffolding products and solutions to construction, infrastructure, and industrial clients. The role combines technical expertise with strong sales and communication skills to achieve business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for scaffolding products and services across construction, industrial, and maintenance sectors.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, technical proposals, and quotations to clients.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close sales deals in alignment with company policies.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through proactive market engagement.
Technical Support
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable scaffolding solutions (system type, load capacity, configuration, etc.).
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to prepare customized scaffolding layouts or technical drawings.
- Provide clients with technical guidance on scaffolding design, load calculation, and safety compliance.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to understand client needs and provide after-sales support.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of scaffolding projects.
Market Research & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback to management.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company’s products and services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in scaffolding sales, construction equipment, or industrial solutions.
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of scaffolding systems (Cuplock, Ringlock, Frame, Tube & Coupler, etc.)
- Familiarity with load calculations and scaffolding safety standards (OSHA, EN, IS).
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong networking and client relationship management.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

- Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Number of new clients acquired and retained.
- Market share growth in assigned territory.
- Customer satisfaction and repeat business rate.
