Scheduler / Planning Engineer

Position Objectives

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to ensure the timely delivery of data centre or mission-critical projects
  • Track progress, identify deviations, and support corrective actions for contractor performance
  • Provide accurate planning insights and reporting to support project decision-making

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update weekly, monthly, and baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
  • Audit contractor schedules, verify progress, and ensure alignment with data centre project timelines
  • Track productivity, monitor work package completion, and highlight delays or risks
  • Coordinate with project managers, design, and construction teams to validate schedule assumptions
  • Support schedule reporting, KPI tracking, and progress dashboards for management review
  • Identify schedule risks, suggest mitigation, and maintain schedule documentation

Qualification and Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5–10 years of scheduling/planning experience on data centre or mission-critical projects
  • Proficiency in project controls software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
  • Strong knowledge of construction planning, progress monitoring, and productivity analysis
  • Familiarity with KPI reporting, dashboards (Power BI/Excel), and integrated project controls processes
  • Certifications such as PMP, PSP, or AACEi are preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
