Scheduling Coordinator/CNA

Purpose of Your Job Position
The primary purpose of your job position is to schedule nursing staffing to meet the needs of the patients and facility, communicate the staffing schedule to staff on a timely basis, and fill any vacant shifts through coordination with staff.

Delegation of Authority
As a Staffing Coordinator you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Educational Requirements
A high school degree or equivalent is preferable.

Experience
Experience in nursing or nursing department processes, preferably in a skilled nursing operation. Certified Nursing Assistant Required.

Specific Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with doctors and other medical personnel.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
