Scheduling Executive - TM

This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of vessel schedules, voyage updates, and transshipment coordination at our regional hubs. You'll play a central role in handling shipping schedules, coordinating berth alignments, and supporting financial reconciliation activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management:
    • Update the schedules data regularly to reflect accurate routing and transit details.
    • Manage and send updated schedules to all countries and trade clusters.
    • Plan, update and distribute sailing schedules to owned & chartered vessels and relevant internal teams.
  • Voyage Planning & Execution:
    • Maintain voyage data in Transmar's system by updating actuals and changes.
    • Process voyage creation requests in Transmar's system for empty container repositioning and 3rd party voyages.
    • Add voyages in Transmar's system for invoicing purposes and financial alignment.
  • Port & Berth Coordination:
    • Arrange vessel berths and coordinate closely with the internal operations team.
    • Provide and update vessel speed instructions and requirements to optimize sailing performance.
    • Record and manage sailing tolerance data (schedule reliability) to track operational deviations.
  • Audit & Compliance:
    • Audit and update port operations and vessel performance logs.
    • Audit, update and approve port data for owned & chartered vessels fleet in Transmar's system.
  • Financial Operations Support:
    • Assist with monthly closing tasks by reconciling data accuracy between operations and finance.
    • Ensure that all voyage and port data align with invoicing and cost reporting systems.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in shipping or maritime operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience in process automation is a plus.
