Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a school bus on assigned routes and for special events. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safe operating conditions. Maintain a clean and orderly bus, including daily sweeping and upkeep. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and transportation regulations. Ensure students load, ride, and unload safely, including scanning and recording ridership. Maintain daily mileage, fuel, and operational logs. Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly, including camera malfunctions. Maintain accurate route information and learn assigned student stops. Use required systems to clock in and out daily. May operate buses equipped with wheelchair lifts. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Valid CDL with School Bus (S) endorsement. Completion of a state-approved driver training program. Clean 5-year driving record with no at-fault accidents. Strong professionalism and reliability. Ability to pass background check. Must participate in required federal drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing. First Aid certification preferred. Experience with student transportation or working with children is a plus.
