Job Title: School HR Lead

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Lead to act as the single point of contact for all HR matters in the school. This role is equivalent to an HRBP/HR Generalist position, managing the complete employee life cycle and ensuring alignment of HR practices with school objectives. Ideal for professionals rejoining after a sabbatical or career break, this role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding – Manage recruitment end-to-end, from manpower planning, sourcing, and interviewing to smooth onboarding.
- Employee Relations & Engagement – Build strong relationships with staff and leadership, resolve grievances, and drive engagement initiatives.
- Performance & Talent Management – Facilitate performance reviews, identify development needs, and support career progression.
- Policy & Compliance – Ensure adherence to HR policies, statutory compliance, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Payroll & Attendance – Oversee payroll inputs, leave management, and attendance systems in coordination with accounts/finance.
- Learning & Development – Identify training needs, coordinate workshops, and encourage a culture of continuous learning.
- Exit Management – Manage resignations, exit interviews, full & final settlements, and alumni engagement where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate (minimum); MBA/PGDM in HR is an added advantage.
- 2+ years of HR experience (preferred: education industry or similar people-centric environment).
- Strong HR generalist skills covering recruitment, ER, compliance, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable handling multiple HR functions independently.
