School Procurement Manager

Education: Bachelors

Experience: Atleast 5 years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Negotiation:
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Purchase Orders:
  • Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Procurement & Purchasing:
  • Handle procurement planning and execution for all school requirements including supplies, furniture, uniforms, IT equipment, etc.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and explore new ones for better deals and service.
  • Vendor Tie-Ups:
  • Identify and finalize long-term partnerships with reliable vendors for consistent and high-quality supply.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement/purchasing (preferably in educational institutions or similar sectors)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Jalandhar, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Purchasing: 6 years (Preferred)
