Science and Math Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science and Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of both scientific and mathematical concepts. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum, fostering a supportive learning environment, and helping students excel in both subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both Science and Mathematics across various year groups, ensuring alignment with the curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Use a range of teaching methods, including interactive learning, practical experiments (for Science), and problem-solving activities (for Mathematics).
• Regularly assess student progress through homework, assignments, and tests; provide timely feedback to support their growth.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Manage student behavior effectively and in accordance with school policies.
• Assessment & Reporting:
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents.
• Prepare and contribute to end-of-term reports, identifying areas for improvement and recognizing student achievements.
• Extracurricular Engagement:
• Encourage students to participate in STEM-related extracurricular activities such as science fairs, math competitions, or after-school clubs.
• Professional Development:
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in both Science and Mathematics education.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure an integrated approach to teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
• Experience:
• Proven experience teaching Science and Mathematics minimum 1 Year.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Science and Mathematics curriculum content and teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to diverse student needs.
• Passion for fostering a love of learning in students.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching and learning.
