Position Overview:
The Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as per curriculum) to high school students (Grades 6–10). The teacher will promote scientific thinking, curiosity, and practical understanding through effective classroom and laboratory instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board as applicable).
• Teach concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology using activity-based and inquiry-driven methods.
• Conduct laboratory experiments safely and effectively.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects, and teaching aids.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, practicals, assignments, and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
• Encourage scientific inquiry, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Integrate real-life applications and current scientific developments into lessons.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, academic planning, and professional development programs.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology or related field).
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
• Prior experience teaching high school Science preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and laboratory handling skills.
