Job Description:
Titan, a leading jewellery company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SCM Officer-Stock Keeping & Logistics to join our team at our Sourcing Office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. As the SCM Officer, you will be responsible for managing the stock keeping and logistics operations for our jewellery products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the stock keeping and inventory management process for all jewellery products
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and losses
- Conduct regular stock audits and report any discrepancies to management
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth flow of materials and products
- Manage the logistics and transportation of products to various locations
- Negotiate with logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of products
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Stay updated with industry trends and developments to identify potential areas for improvement in the supply chain process
- Train and supervise junior staff members in stock keeping and logistics operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in stock keeping and logistics, preferably in the jewellery industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of local and international logistics regulations and procedures
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing inventory levels
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
