Screen Print Press Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Screen Print Press Operator, who will work to complete the printing production of decorated garments. The individual in this role is responsible to print high quality garments, with a high degree of efficiency to process the workload timely and consistent with equipment output standards for thru put while reducing misprints leading to waste. This person must be detail oriented, able to meet varying business needs, priorities of work, and someone who works well with others. This role also requires conscientious work quality and problem solving capabilities, especially as it relates to print quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Printing Manager to plan and organize scheduled work
• Support Press Setup and Operation.
• Must know logo placement for all size garments.
• Coating & Exposing of Screens- Screen Cleanup and Reclaiming.
• Production of Shirts in a Timely Manner.
• Manage press resulting in High standard of quality with a great eye for detail, resulting in near zero defects.
• Maintain a Neat, Clean, Well Organized Work Area by returning all work materials at end of day to their appropriate location, sealed and out of the way.
• Can handle heavy duty schedule and duties, when required.
• Can handle heat of printing presses and warehouse environment.
• Knows how to print on automatic screen printing machines.
• General maintenance experience.
• Various other tasks, duties, and/or projects as needed and assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience with ROQ automatic machines.
• Candidate must have in depth industry experience (2-5 years) including but not limited to Manual Press Setup and Operation, Automatic Press Setup and Operation.
• Must know logo placement for all size garments.
• Coating & Exposing of Screens- Screen Cleanup and Reclaiming.
• Understanding the process of printing films.
• Ability to work independently.

Must be based in Orlando, FL.
