Screening Specialist (Clinical Research Patient Recruitment)

Position Overview

The Screening Specialist plays a key role in patient recruitment for clinical trials by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential participants. This role focuses on reviewing patient databases, applying study inclusion and exclusion criteria, and conducting outbound outreach to schedule screening visits.

The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with patients, organized, and capable of maintaining high call volume while accurately documenting eligibility and scheduling appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient databases and lead lists to identify potential clinical trial participants.
• Evaluate potential candidates against study inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Conduct 40–50 outbound calls per day to prospective participants.
• Provide clear information about clinical trials and answer basic questions.
• Schedule qualified participants for screening appointments with research coordinators.
• Maintain detailed notes in CRM, EMR, or CTMS systems.
• Coordinate with clinical research coordinators regarding patient scheduling.
• Track outreach metrics including call volume, conversions, and scheduled visits.
• Follow up with interested patients to confirm appointments.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills (required).
• Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical research, call centers, or patient recruitment preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply screening criteria.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Experience with EMR, CRM, or CTMS systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in clinical trial recruitment
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Experience working remotely with distributed teams

Performance Expectations

• 40–50 outbound calls per day
• Consistent scheduling of qualified screening visits
• Accurate documentation of patient eligibility and interactions

Location: Karachi (On-site)

Timings: 6pm to 3am PKST.

Transportation is provided.
