Scrum Master

A fast paced startup Company is hiring a Scrum Master.

Job Type: Full-time, onsite

Shift Timings: 3 pm to 12 am

Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi

Industry: AI / Fintech

Responsibilities:

· Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement across engineering teams

· Remove blockers and dependencies proactively — coordinate across iOS, backend, AI, and DevOps work streams

· Track sprint progress, velocity, and delivery metrics — surface risks early and keep stakeholders informed

· Work with product and engineering leads to prioritize and scope work into well-defined, deliverable increments

· Champion async-friendly practices — keep meetings short, documentation clear, and decisions visible

· Drive continuous improvement — identify process bottlenecks, propose changes, and measure their impact

· Manage project tracking tools and ensure tickets are well-written, estimated, and up to date

· Coordinate cross-team releases and ensure smooth handoffs between development, QA, and deployment

Requirements:

· 4-5 years as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or delivery lead in a software engineering environment

· Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and agile principles — applied pragmatically, not dogmatically

· Excellent communication — able to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and keep distributed teams aligned

· Experience working with cross-functional teams (mobile, backend, AI/ML, infrastructure)

· Comfortable with async-first, remote collaboration and the tools that support it

· Data-driven — uses velocity, cycle time, and other metrics to guide decisions, not gut feel

· CSM, PSM, or equivalent Agile certification
