Position Description:
As a Scrum Master, you will guide Agile software development teams, ensure predictable delivery, and support both onshore and offshore engineering partners. You’ll facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on Agile best practices, and manage delivery performance through data‑driven metrics and capacity planning.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Team Coaching

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies: daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.

Partner with Product Owners to clarify backlog priorities, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.

Identify and remove impediments to maintain team momentum and flow.
Delivery & Performance Management

Oversee Agile delivery across sprints and releases, ensuring alignment with SLAs and KPIs.

Track and analyze Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, throughput, WIP, defects, cumulative flow, capacity).

Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across onshore/offshore teams.

Monitor team health, performance trends, and delivery risks; provide regular updates to Program Leadership.
Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration

Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders with clarity and transparency.

Coordinate with outsourced development partners to ensure quality, predictability, and accountability.

Support cross‑team alignment and dependency management in a scaled or multi‑team environment.
Hybrid Delivery Environment

Operate within a hybrid Agile + Waterfall framework, managing quarterly deliverables while maintaining Agile execution practices.

Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field

Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent)

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and SDLC
-
Experience tracking Agile delivery metrics and optimizing team capacity

Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.)

Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work effectively with distributed teams (onshore, nearshore, offshore)

Experience collaborating with clients and outsourced development vendors
-
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to navigate complex environments

Increasing Excel proficiency by level (L1–L3)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in consulting or professional services

Knowledge of SAFe, Kanban, DevOps, or other Agile frameworks

Technical background or familiarity with software engineering practices

Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder‑management skills
