The Scrum Master is responsible for enabling high-performing Agile teams that deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes across enterprise digital platforms. This role facilitates Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, protects sprint commitments, and drives continuous improvement. The Scrum Master partners closely with Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, Engineering teams, and Product Managers to strengthen delivery maturity, improve sprint predictability, and ensure alignment to strategic priorities. This role does not own roadmap or backlog decisions but ensures disciplined execution of agreed priorities.
Responsibilities

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Ensure sprint commitments are realistic and aligned to team capacity.

Monitor sprint progress and proactively address risks that may impact delivery.

Drive visibility into sprint metrics such as velocity, predictability, carryover, and defect trends.

Identify and remove blockers impacting delivery.

Escalate cross-team or cross-platform dependencies when necessary.

Protect teams from unplanned work or scope creep during active sprints.

Reinforce disciplined intake and prioritization processes.

Coach teams on Agile principles, story readiness standards, and Definition of Done.

Identify opportunities to improve backlog hygiene and sprint readiness.

Track and improve sprint predictability and delivery consistency.

Partner with Product leadership to strengthen Agile operating models.

Coordinate dependencies across enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, integrations).

Ensure alignment between engineering capacity and product priorities.

Provide delivery reporting to Product and IT leadership.

Ensures compliance with all policies and standards, as well as state, federal and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications
-
6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery role.

Experience supporting enterprise application teams.

Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile principles.

Experience tracking and improving sprint metrics.
Preferred
-
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).

Experience in healthcare, dental, or regulated industries.

Experience working within scaled Agile environments.

Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Compensation Information
$103,000.00-$133,000.00 / Annually
