SDE III - Data Analyst

What You’ll Do:

● Understand the domain, business cases, objectives, and KPIs that need to be reported and analyzed

● Perform data analysis to generate insights for the business, and leverage that to spec dashboards that provide those insights on an ongoing basis (using industry and Perch standards)

● Develop reports and dashboards according to Perch standards and best practices for data accuracy, performance and scale

● Define requirements for (and possibly help develop) data transformations, data models and data pipelines in the data warehouse and ELT frameworks.

● Work closely with clients and our development teams to deliver on the end to end solutions successfully

● Present dashboards and insights to clients to ensure they land and provide value

● Work in a fast-paced environment that leverages agile methodologies to quickly iterate on solutions

What You’ll Bring:

● Bachelor’s degree in a Technical/Quantitative subject such as Computer Science (B.E/B.Tech/MCA)

● 7 - 9 years relevant experience in the field of BI Reporting, Data Analytics, Data Warehouse/BI solutions

● Data exploration skills to unravel data sources and identify the granularity, attributes and measures

● Understanding of data warehouse concepts and modeling the DW objects in the BI tool for reporting

● Strong story-telling capability through visualizations and guided analytics driven smart dashboards

● Knowledgeable on statistical data analysis techniques (linear regression, A/B testing, correlation etc)

● Develop statistical analysis visualizations establishing linkages b/w leading & lagging business metrics

● Should have experience in doing drill downs and root causal analysis with data to arrive at key drivers

● Hands-on experience in using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sisense Fusion, Oracle BI etc.,

● Ability to use live connection in the BI tool and construct advanced analytical SQL queries for reporting

● Appropriate utilization of advanced visualizations like scatter plots, heat maps, area charts, histograms etc

● Must have worked with RDS or data lakes (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)

Skills that will give you an edge (Good to Have) :

● Proficient in SQL (advanced functions), query optimization, and ad-hoc data analysis using SQL/Python

● Well-versed with the data warehouse modeling concepts (star/ snowflake/ denormalized structures) ● Knowledge of programming concepts around customization in BI tool using CSS/HTML/JavaScript/NodeJS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs500,000.00 per month
