Pro Marketing Boost is growing and were hiring an SEO Specialist to drive sustainable organic growth across our U.S. market. Youll combine technical SEO, on-page content strategy, and authority building to improve rankings, traffic quality, and conversionsworking closely with Content, Product, and Web teams.
What youll do
- Own on-page SEO: keyword research & mapping, briefs, meta data, internal linking, and SERP feature optimization (FAQ, snippets, images, video).
- Lead technical audits: crawl/index controls (robots.txt, meta/x-robots), canonicals, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, page speed, structured data, JS/SSR issues, and log-file insights.
- Build content plans for U.S. search intent across the funnel; partner with writers and editors to ship high-quality, helpful content aligned with E-E-A-T and Search Essentials.
- Plan and monitor local SEO (if applicable): Google Business Profile, NAP consistency, local landing pages, reviews strategy.
- Develop ethically sound authority/PR tactics; evaluate backlink quality and disavow only when warranted.Set up measurement: GA4 and Google Search Console, rank tracking, Looker Studio dashboards, and conversion tracking with Product/Analytics.
- Prioritize opportunities with clear business cases; run SEO experiments and partner on CRO/A/B tests (e.g., Optimizely/VWO).
- Monitor algorithm updates, diagnose impact, and execute recovery or acceleration plans.
- Collaborate with Engineering on SEO tickets and with Design to balance UX, accessibility, and SEO.
What you bring
- 25 years of hands-on SEO experience for U.S. SERPs (in-house or agency).
- Proven results growing non-brand organic traffic and conversions at scale.
- Strong technical fundamentals: CWV, schema.org/JSON-LD, JS frameworks (Next.js/React basics), CDN/caching, hreflang/canonicals, pagination.
- Tool fluency: GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Looker Studio; bonus for SQL basics.
- Content chops: can translate keyword intent into briefs that writers love; understands YMYL and quality guidelines.
- Clear, concise communication; project management that hits deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience with Shopify/WordPress/Webflow or headless CMS.
- Local SEO at multi-location scale.Basic HTML/CSS; comfort opening a PR for minor SEO fixes.
- Experience with digital PR/storytelling for link acquisition.
- Familiarity with responsible use of AI tools for ideation/QA (no thin/auto-generated content).
