Dot IT is looking for a highly talented and strategic SEO Team Leader with 4+ years of experience to head our SEO department. In this role, you will not just execute tasks, but you will lead a team of specialists, define our overarching search strategy, and bridge the gap between technical execution and business growth. 1. Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists, content writers, and link builders to execute the SEO roadmap.
Allocate resources, manage project timelines, and ensure the team meets quarterly KPIs.
Foster a culture of continuous learning by keeping the team updated on the latest search trends, algorithm updates, and tools.
2. Strategy & Framework Development
Define high-level target keyword strategies and oversee content optimization initiatives.
Develop and implement SEO Governance & Guidelines for the content and development teams to ensure best practices are baked into our DNA.
Design high-impact, white-hat link-building strategies and oversee their execution by the team.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Oversight
Collaborate directly with Web Developers teams to drive technical SEO improvements (site structure, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup).
Partner with Content Marketing managers to align SEO keyword opportunities with the brand’s voice and editorial calendar.
4. Competitor Intelligence & Market Analysis
Oversee competitor benchmarking; identify, monitor, and report on competitor techniques, gaps, and market shifts to pivot our strategy proactively.
5. Data & Business Reporting
Translate complex SEO data into actionable business insights.
Generate and present regular executive-level reports for business leaders to illustrate ROI, traffic growth, and progress toward business goals.
Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in SEO, with at least 1-2 years in a senior, supervisory, or leadership role.
Technical Skills: Advanced expertise in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and industry tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing a team, conducting performance reviews, and mentoring junior team members.
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that impact business revenue.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain SEO value and technical growth clearly to business leaders.
