 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Maintains good relations and solicits daily room night production of groups and conference business from the existing accounts in order to meet sales targets.
 
 
 &bull; Organizes VIP&rsquo;s arrivals, welcomes and provides them with assistance during their stay upon needs according to the Kempinski standards and in order to meet guest satisfaction.
 
 
 &bull; Plans sales activities by identifying potential customers, organizing sales calls and sales blitz to develop new business.
 
 
 &bull; Negotiates new contracts and renewals in order to meet sales targets.
 
 
 &bull; Coordinates with Front Office, Banqueting and Food &amp; Beverage Department all specific guest requirements.
 
 
 &bull; Prepares a monthly sales activities report including companies and tour &amp; travel agents.
 
 
 &bull; Achieve monthly budget goals and new business targets.
 
 
 &bull; Set up and maintain good working relationship with all other areas of the hotel&rsquo;s operations, such as Front Office, Food and Beverage, Accounting, Reservations etc.
 
 
 &bull; Follow-up with clients before, during and after the function/event/stay to ensure repeat business.
 
 
 &bull; Handle complaints and pass to Assistant Director of Sales.
 
 
 &bull; Follow-up leads provided by Global Sales Offices.
 
 
 &bull; Research and present lost business reports at the Monthly Sales Meetings.
 
 
 &bull; Provide Assistant Director of Sales with weekly sales report.
 
 
 &bull; Attend various trade shows, functions as when required.
 
 
 &bull; Maintain familiarity with analyze the competition from other hotels which will be designated.
 
 
 &bull; Contribute to overall market plan.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in training programs.
 
 
 &bull; Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
 
 
 &bull; To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules &amp; Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel&rsquo;s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health &amp; Safety.
 
 
 &bull; To ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.
 
 
 &bull; To understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel&rsquo;s Employee rules &amp; regulations.
 
 
 &bull; To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
 
 
 &bull; Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.

What&rsquo;s the job?As a Sales Manager, you will be assisting the Director of Sales &amp; Marketing in management of all sales activities and events including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, public relations and management of the sales team.Your day-to-day&middot; Implements all sales action plans related to his/her marketing area as outlined in the Marketing Plan.&middot; Establishes and maintains files on major active accounts within his/her marketing areas.&middot; Promotes and produces sales leads through the I-Leads system.&middot; Plans sales trips, under the direct approval of Director of Sales &amp; Marketing / Director of Sales, to major marketing areas, calling on accounts within their specific marketing area.
