ACCOUNTABILITIES:</b></p><p><b>Operational</b></p><ul><li>Ensure full compliance at all times with safety and security regulations and procedures as per host state and company requirements.</li><li>Maintain close coordination between departments, customers and third parties to ensure shipments are transferred, delivered on time and correct priority is given to shipments.</li><li>Identify needs and improve cargo sales and operational performance for local station.</li><li>Distribute official notifications to concerned parties, both internal and external.</li><li>Create awareness of Cargo products and services among existing and potential customers, as well as internal stakeholders.</li><li>Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.</li></ul><p><b>Customer Service</b></p><ul><li>Coordinate service recovery measures and implement corrective actions, when required, ensuring appropriate communication to relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Record updates on backlog/critical situations to avoid complaints from customers.</li><li>Coordinate between cargo handling teams and outstations on shipments requiring special handling/attention to ensure smooth movement of cargo, when required.</li><li>Provide booking list to Ground Handling Agent (GHA) within the agreed time frame, to effect on-time departure of flights.</li><li>Contribute in maximizing revenue through efficient allocations in relation to reservations with Revenue Management.</li><li>Attend to all customer queries with regard to cargo shipments.</li><li>Assist in facilitating coordination between IATA / CASS and cargo offices within the station / region to ensure efficiency in billing and settlement processes.</li><li>Assist station in-charge in handling CAMS violation/Finance reconciliation queries and shipment verification.</li></ul><p><b>Reservations</b></p><ul><li>Accept bookings for cargo sales and ensure they are properly fed into the cargo IT system according to airline instructions as per Cargo Services Manual (CSM).</li><li>Liaise between sales team members and Revenue Management to ensure each reservation is properly allocated per flight.</li><li>Make booking with other airlines/trucking companies and make use of SPA contracts to ensure satisfactory service to offline destinations, whenever required.</li></ul><p><b>Sales</b></p><ul><li>Interact via telephone with freight forwarders, direct shippers and/or consignees, typical telesales functions, assist customer queries, rate quotations, optimizing the commercial functions related to export booking/forwarding/delivery while setting a high standard of service.</li><li>Flight planning with maximum utilization of the flight capacity, control and operation export &amp; import.</li><li>Generate services reports including preparation system accounting updates on every flight departure.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Contract<br/>Contract length: 4 months</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>

You will be creating added value to the QR Group by building a trustworthy relationship with finance and Revenue Management heads through meaningful and insightful reporting /analyses for senior/executive management in Finance and Business. You will act as a business partner and single point of contact for senior/executive management in Finance for Revenue Management. Bridging Finance (BF, AP, AR, Finance Centers of Expertise) with the respective business you will act as a &ldquo;liaison&rdquo; focusing on &ldquo;connecting the dots&rdquo; within QR Group businesses and /or Finance stakeholders. Collaboration is key in this role. You will also ensure compliance with Qatar Airways accounting policies &amp; procedures.<br>
<b>Key responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Contribute to the development of Qatar Airways Group goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization by ensuring optimal allocation of resources and providing insightful information to the senior management team.</li>
<li>Responsible for the development of strategic financial plans by providing management with all information necessary to measure financial performance that will assist and steer Revenue Management towards sustained profitability.</li>
<li>Advise the CFO and other key members of the senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.</li>
<li>Ensure effective communication and relationship between senior management Finance and Revenue Management. Act as a business partner for Revenue Management and to bridge between business and finance in an open, transparent way.</li>
<li>Manage, capture and integrate market intelligence into strategic planning, ensuring an appropriate focus on delivering competitive advantage.</li>
<li>Financial analyses to include monthly/quarterly reporting of KPIs, cost of investment and potential financing scenarios, realistic revenue/cost assumptions, manpower impact, sensitivity analysis, generation of EVA metrics including IRR, NPV, and payback analysis, and highlighting any risks and opportunities associated with any projects.</li>
<li>To present an objective view of the financial situation and provide sound recommendations for the allocation of resources in the most efficient way to achieve Revenue Management goals and objectives.</li>
<li>Incorporate forecast planning into the organization and ensure provisions are made for major risks and opportunities defined from the course of normal operations.</li>
<li>Responsible to lead the units, and strategic business drivers to determine investment allocation, creating comprehensive and highly structured Business Cases for proposed projects, ascertaining investment cost and benefits to scope, dependencies, risk, and its alignment to strategic objectives.</li>
<li>Creating awareness of the financial dynamics to the senior management of the business through transparent, reliable reports, analyses, and presentations with a focus on KPIs and key messages.</li><br>

<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of job-related experience.</li>
<li>5 years in an airline management position</li>
<li>Revenue Management experience.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in airline operations.</li>
<li>Command of English language.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to review variances, and understand the business cycle and their impact on the profit and loss account.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organization.</li>
<li>Strong developed &ldquo;soft skills&rdquo;, high level of integrity, open /transparent, team player.</li>
