Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Solutions Architect with strong expertise in the airline industry to lead solution design, functional architecture, and end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will partner with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that align with aviation operational, financial, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules across Finance, SCM, HCM, or ERP relevant to airline operations.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs and solution roadmaps.
  • Provide functional architecture guidance for integrations between Oracle Fusion and airline systems (e.g., flight ops, crew management, MRO, revenue accounting).
  • Drive end-to-end solution planning, including process mapping, gap analysis, and system optimization.
  • Ensure alignment of Oracle Fusion capabilities with airline-specific needs such as ticketing, baggage, maintenance, fuel management, scheduling, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on data migration, integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), extensions, and reporting.
  • Conduct functional testing, UAT support, and production rollout activities.
  • Deliver best practices and recommendations to improve system performance and business workflows.
  • Develop documentation: BRDs, functional specs, solution designs, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Cloud within the airline business function.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle ERP/HCM/SCM applications with 5+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Proven experience working in the airline/aviation domain—flight operations, maintenance, revenue systems, or corporate functions.
  • Strong functional expertise in at least one major Oracle Fusion area:

– Financials
– SCM
– HCM
– Procurement
– Projects

  • Hands-on experience with Fusion configuration, setups, and solution design.
  • Solid understanding of airline business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with integration platforms and Oracle PaaS.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Information Systems.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications (Financials, SCM, HCM, etc.).
  • Experience with airline systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, Navitaire, AIMS, Ramco, TRAX, or ARMS.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience leading end-to-end Fusion implementations for airline clients.
